Depends on the tablet, some tablet processors won’t work with the windows OS. Many of the ARM processors are known not to work with windows.
However, I was told that my Lenovo Thinkpad Tablet will actually work with windows 10, I cannot yet confirm or deny this as I have not had the opportunity to try. Another catch is the tablet will only work with a 32bit version of windows as the processors aren’t 64bit capable.
